I’m Timo, the founder of FX Trading Today. I started trading forex in 2024 and, like many beginners in Southeast Asia, I learned the hard way that choosing the wrong broker can cost more than a bad trade: slow withdrawals, hidden fees and unclear regulation.
I built this site to give traders a straight answer to one question: is this broker safe and suitable for me?
How I work
- I test with real accounts. I open accounts, verify my identity, deposit and withdraw my own money, and record spreads, fees and processing times. Screenshots are kept as evidence.
- I check regulation at the source. Every licence mentioned in a review is checked against the regulator’s own register, and I state which broker entity serves which country.
- I update reviews. Each review shows the date it was last checked. When a regulator issues a warning, I update the relevant page.

Transparency
FX Trading Today is run by one person: me. The site earns affiliate commissions when readers open an account through some links, but no broker can pay for a higher rating or a better review. My full method is published on the FX Trading Today Standard page.
